Withering of Edion

Bad Luck

Dahlia awoke that night after her sickness left and Olivia explained what had happened before escorting her to Jonathan and the others. They were sleeping and, after some quick explanations and a peek out the roof at the force of knights gathered to fight the enemy, they tried to get some rest before they had to leave. Dahlia discovered that there were black things in the rain as well. After some fitful rest they boarded up Jonathan’s house and he snuck them out to the waterfront – the invisibility potion wasn’t even needed. All the guards eyes were upon the approaching enemy. They started to swim to freedom, but Dragomir made a horrifying discovery in the water – the body of J.C. With no time to mourn they moved on quickly and got outside the city walls, watching the charge of the knights from the relative safety of the wall. The strange druid decimated the horde of knights with a wave of destructive power and with that the group fled, finding shelter in a clearing. They rested, but Dahlia and Charles had a horrifying vision of Dragomir murdering J.C. upon waking they found it to be true and Dragomir ran off into the woods to have some time to himself. Their shock over this revelation was short lived however, as strange green sprites seemed to torment them until they moved on to the small town of Patrick’s Den. They supped at the inn and Dahlia, once more, became inebriated and ended up in Jonathan’s lap (and beyond.) Meanwhile Antoinette and Dragomir went to talk to a boy outside who revealed that almost all of the children were stricken with a sleeping sickness. Charles joined them soon and the child ended up falling asleep on the dire rabbit. They carted him to the town doctor before deciding to investigate the forest and lake where the boy had been playing. The green sprites, very similar to the Earth stories of leprechauns, trapped them in the forest and messed with Dragomir’s illness until Charles offered them his class ring for freedom. They returned to the inn after many hours had passed in the forest and tried to sleep, but the leprechauns tormented them still, targeting anyone not wearing green – that would be Jonathan and Dahlia. Both were bitten by the leprechauns and Jonathan would not wake up. Dragomi was forced into his evil persona by the leprechauns until he fled, though Piffle tried to raise his spirits. Eventually Dragomir returned and agreed to the aid of the odd voice in his head, who helped them capture a leprechaun. In exchange for some of Dahlia’s bracelets the leprechaun lifted the sleeping disease from those affected. Upon waking Jonathan revealed that four leaf clovers could be attracting the leprechauns (who were actually emerald fae), but it usually stays in the forest. Heading into town Antoinette, Charles, and Dragomir (with the animal companion’s aid) uprooted bunches of four leaf clover from the town before going to get some strong coffee – they all needed it.

Dark Horizons

In the night Dragomir awoke and found himself in the ocean. Climbing back to the docks he managed to find his way back to the Sanctuary and get back to sleep, though these actions greatly disturbed the others when they awoke and he explained them. Jonathan came by with a very sick Dahlia, mentioning the odd weather – while it was clear in the sanctuary outside it a dark storm brewed. Delon was sent to the skies to investigate and came back saying that the horizon was tinted black. The group went to Jonathan’s house and got a better look from his rooftop, seeing that a mysterious man was walking slowly towards town, a curtain of darkness trailing him and eating away at anything in it’s path. Returning to warn the druids found them encircling The World child, protecting her. It was agreed that they needed to leave town, but how was another issue. Delon and Olivia decided to stay at the Sanctuary, The World sending Olivia back to Winnetonka to plant her dagger under the stairs and fetch a replacement hero – Charles. She brought him back to Edion and after a slap and some awkward explanations she delivered him to the others at Jonathan’s house. Jonathan explained that he was due to meet a friend at The Squid Bucket that night for a friendly game of poker, and said friend happened to have a very useful potion that they could use to escape. A plan was laid out, with Jonathan and Antoinette going to meet the potion maker and play cards while Dragomir created a distraction and Charles snatched the vial in the confusion. It went off with only a small hitch of Dragomir being dragged to the church after his distraction involved a bar room brawl with a group of dwarves. Charles and Antoinette managed to fetch him back, with Dragomir narrowly avoided an arrow in his backside for the noise he created. When they returned Jonathan explained what the potion’s purpose was – invisibility…

On their way

I failed to upload what happened because not much has yet. They met Delon and found a very sick woman. Then they were captured by the militia of the one true god and were taken to jail in the capital city. Delon escaped and set them free, along with a strange, blind little girl that they met in the jail. “Very bright, very shiny.” They escaped to the Druid haven in the slums.

A Brave New World

A group of high school students followed a suspicious group of people to the library where they found a flower growing out the the shelf. The room went black and they found themselves in a forest on a mysterious world. After befriending a local druid, they made preparations to begin life in a new world, and try to find a way home.
